After settling in to your accommodation, you will be guided on a village tour to learn more about the settlers of Surama Village and their way of life. You will visit the local school, medical centre and church along with some village houses before having lunch. This tour is a three kilometre walk.
In the evening your guide will take you for a short walk on the Marabunta trails to observe the forest and bird life. As night falls, enjoy an educational walk to observe wildlife and experience the mystique of the forest after dark. Overnight at Surama Eco-lodge.
Day 2 - Surama Mountain & River Experience
Rise before dawn for a walk across the savannah and then challenging climb up Surama Mountain. The tour is 5 kilometres long and offers amazing sights of birdlife in the early morning hours.
